High troughput data acquisition systems for neural tissue imaging have become very powerful and widely available. The potential for scientific breakthroughs is enormous, but there is a show stopper: the human in the image analysis loop. This workshop focuses on how far we can get with fully automated analysis algorithms that turn terabytes of data into comprehensive tracts and structures. We look at data obtained at different scales, with MRI scanners, light microscopes and electron microscopes. The goal is to find out what works, what doesn't, and what is still under development. Can we get the human out of the loop?

Route to SURFnet
SURFnet is located on top of Utrecht CS, on the Radboudburcht on the fourth floor. From the central station, walk into the Hoog Catharijne shopping mall. After less than 50m, you will see the sign Radboudburcht on the left. Walk into the corridor. You will find glass doors at the end of the corridor. Ring the bell for SURFnet to have the reception open the doors for you. Take the elevator to the fourth floor.
